I created this site to provide an easy way to find airports certain distances apart to meet experience requirements for flight training. Much to my surprise, I haven't found any other sites that do this.

Check the distances on official charts before flying.
The distance from IAD to LAX on this site differs from Google Earth's measurement by about 0.6 nm. N/S routes may vary more significantly.

The lines plotted on the map are straight lines and not the great-circle arcs that you might want to fly.
